The engraver's workshop in Sweden

Atelier Areti work with highly skilled craftsmen and manufactures to make their products.  A visit to the engraver's work shop shows the skill and time involved in engraving the Kirchschlag and Kaline Collection.

The pattern is first drawn onto the glass.

Our engraver then executes the vertical lines on a copper wheel, the drops and circles are added in a second stage.

It takes years of experience and a very steady hand to be able to achieve the precision and detail needed for these designs.

This is the first 'rough' engraving, the pattern will have to be polished again and again to achieve the final result:
