The Spiral, like the Swan and Curves desk lights, is composed of two elemental geometries, the line and sphere. In the spiral, the line transgresses into the 3rd dimension, drawing a sketch with multiple interpretations. The marble base provides a solid foundation for the curved metal tube, which leads into an illuminated globe of the same proportions.
